Meet Vicky Larsen, Owner and Licensed Esthetician

A self-proclaimed gifted hair beast, esthetician Vicky Larsen understands the pain of unwanted hair and wants to help tame your hairy beast.

In 1997, Vicky enrolled into cosmetology school and gained her license in esthetics and nails.  She practiced esthetics while obtaining her Business Administration degree from New Mexico State University.

Upon graduating, she entered the world of retail for 3 ½ years all the while continuing to wax herself and friends.

Realizing that she was happier in esthetics than retail, Vicky returned to the spa industry and hasn’t left since. Over the years, she has perfected her craft and is known for her virtually painless waxing services.

How to Find Clean Slate Waxing

You will find Clean Slate Waxing inside of J Stila Salon & Spa, on 3rd Avenue, just south of Laurel Street. Our Banker’s Hill location makes our salon an easy trip from Hillcrest and Downtown San Diego. For directions, check out our Contact page.

Payment Information

To make it easier for you to pay for your cosmetic skin treatments and waxing services, the following are accepted methods of payment:

  • MASTERCARD®
  • Discover Card
  • Cash
  • Checks

Cancellation Policy – Basic Services

As a courtesy, please allow 24 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling your appointment (with the exception of special event packages). Any cancellation within the 24-hour period is subject to a $15 charge added to your next appointment.

Deposits for Special Event Packages

Wedding packages require a $100 non-refundable deposit due at the time you schedule your appointment to secure your date. This deposit will be applied to the cost of the package.

True Colors makeup packages require a $50 non-refundable deposit to secure your appointment.

All packages must be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the event date.

Cancellation Policy – Special Event Packages

As a courtesy, please allow 72 hours notice for cancellation of a special event package. Because of the time allotted for special event packages, any cancellations less than 72 hours from appointment will forfeit a refund of your payment.
